Matcha Bowl with Clear Glaze and Three Types of Clay
A beautiful matcha bowl featuring a soft ochre tone and natural patterns created by the clay.
This piece is crafted by combining white Shigaraki clay, red Izumo clay, and raw clay from Nara Prefecture, finished with a transparent glaze.
The bowl has a gentle, rounded form with a slightly undulating rim. The surface displays layers of pale beige and reddish-brown, showcasing the rich, expressive nature of the soil itself.
The soft luster unique to transparent glaze enhances the rustic texture of the clay.

The appeal of this bowl lies in the natural colors and patterns produced by the three types of clay.
By combining white Shigaraki clay, red Izumo clay, and raw clay from Nara—each with distinct properties—flowing layers of color and soft gradations emerge on the surface of the vessel.
Curved lines created by the blending of the clays spread across the exterior, offering a different expression depending on the viewing angle.
Using a transparent glaze allows the colors and fine particles of the clay to show through, highlighting the inherent beauty of the material.
The foot remains unglazed to preserve the natural feel of the clay. You can see carving marks and fine soil particles, which convey the warmth of handcraftsmanship.
The pale, warm hue harmonizes beautifully with the vibrant green of matcha.

Returns / Exchanges
Each piece is made by hand. Therefore, the shape and size may be slightly different.
For this reason, we do not accept cancellations of orders after they have been dispatched, nor do we accept returns or exchanges for defective goods other than damaged goods, even if the package has not been opened.
The following cases are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
-If the delivered product is not defective.
-When the product is different from the image, etc. due to customer's convenience
-When the product is damaged or scratched by the customer.
-If more than 7 days have passed since the item arrived.
